About Me

In 2000, I embarked on an exciting journey from the U.S. to Singapore, drawn by a passion for working with youth. This experience illuminated the pressing need to deepen my skills in addressing the complex challenges facing today’s teenagers. Driven by this realization, I pursued a Master’s degree and began my transformative career in clinical counseling and psychotherapy in 2010.

My clinical focus encompasses trauma, attachment injuries, depression, and anxiety. A defining moment in my career was co-founding DaySpring Residential Treatment Centre in Singapore— a groundbreaking initiative and the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. This pioneering residential program is dedicated to supporting teenage girls who have endured trauma and abuse. I had the privilege of serving as the Clinical Director for 4.5 years, a role that allowed me to help shape the center’s mission before transitioning into private practice.

I hold certifications in Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, where I am uniquely trained as both a therapist and an equine professional. My approach also includes training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (Levels 1 & 2), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Choice Theory/Reality Therapy (CTRT). By integrating these diverse modalities, I can customize therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe that exploring our past experiences reveals underlying core beliefs and patterns, which, once acknowledged, pave the way for meaningful change, inner healing, and enhanced resilience. Clients can choose from traditional talk therapy or innovative equine-assisted psychotherapy.

I’ve been honored to share my insights as a guest on radio shows like 93.8FM’s “Parenting Made Easy” and to speak as a keynote presenter at the Singapore Parenting Congress. One of the highlights of my career was being recognized as the Singapore International Woman of the Year by the American Women’s Association in 2012, a testament to my pioneering work with adolescents.

I cherish the opportunity to work with the local, expatriate, and corporate communities. As a registered Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and a Registered Clinical Supervisor, I am committed to providing exceptional care.

My practice is based in vibrant Singapore, with equine therapy sessions held at the beautiful Singapore Polo Club.
